From October 16th (Friday) to November 15th (Sunday), the Asuka Historical Museum will hold a photo contest for the Asuka Festival.

This year, when various festivals have been canceled, it may be a good idea to look back at the photos in the hope that it will be held next time.

Asuka Stone Culture and Masonry

Asuka Museum holds a special exhibition of “Asuka Stone Culture and Masonry” from August 4th (Tuesday) to September 22nd (Tuesday).
Asuka’s stonework is scattered in various places, so it can be a bit difficult to see the real thing.
Asuka Museum exhibits replicas all at once, so you can feel free to appreciate them.
This time, a new “Kamegata stone tank” has been added.
The real “Kamegata stone tank” is only seen from a distance, so why not take this opportunity to feel the actual size nearby?
Saturday, August 15th is a free admission day.
